Example 1 (masculin / féminin singulier)

Il (elle) devra chercher la solution.

He (she) shall have to be looking for the solution.

Special meaning when used with words like "quand, aussitôt que, dès que", etc. describing a future event:

Example 2 (masculin / féminin singulier)

Dès qu'il (elle) devra chercher la solution, …

As soon as he (she) does have to look for the solution, … (for emphasis, or negative) (Future event)

As soon as he (she) has to look for the solution, … (Future event)

As soon as he (she) is having to look for the solution, … (Future event)

As soon as he (she) must look for the solution, … (Future event)
