IMPORTANT NOTE: This verb tense, the Subjonctif passé, is a powerful tool of the French language and is used far more frequently in French than its English counterpart. The rules governing the conjugation of the Subjonctif passé are actually not complicated. However, knowing when to use this verb tense is much more challenging.
